Niemann-Pick - Peter G. Pentchev Research Fellowship 2013 ($ 100,000)

The National Niemann-Pick Disease Foundation (NNPDF) invites applications for its Peter G. Pentchev Research Fellowship. Applications are due May 1, 2013. The postdoctoral research fellowships examine the biology of Niemann-Pick Type C (NPC) disease, a lethal neurodegenerative disease for which there are no effective therapies. The fellowships provide support of $ 50,000 per annum for two years and may be renewable based on performance.  Applicants must be M.D., Ph. D. and D.V.M. postdoctoral fellows and be currently associated with a recognized laboratory. 

The National Niemann-Pick Disease Foundation is a non-profit organization that supports and promotes research to find a cure or treatments for all types of Niemann-Pick Disease and provides support services to individuals and families affected by the disease.
