ZonMw publishes new HDHL INTIMIC call
The Joint Programming Initiative Healthy Diet for A Healthy Life (JPI HDHL) launched together with the INTIMIC partners the second joint funding activity Knowledge Platform on Food, Diet, Intestinal Microbiomics and Human Health. Deadline for submitting an Expression of Interest (EoI) is October 9, 2018. ZonMw participates on behalf of the Netherlands with a budget of € 200,000.
Besides the Netherlands the following countries participate in the call: Austria, Belgium, Israel, Italy, France, Germany, Spain and Sweden. The overall aim of the Knowledge Platform on Food, Diet, Intestinal Microbiomics and Human Health is to foster transnational and multidisciplinary collaboration and networking in order to accelerate, further develop and increase the impact of intestinal microbiome research related to human health.
Only granted Dutch research groups in JPI HDHL calls (with a clear link to human intestinal microbiomics) or research groups granted in the NWO CCC Carbobiotics call of 2017 are eligible for funding. EoI's can only be submitted by the Dutch Principal investigator of the research group (expression of Interest submitted by other Dutch researchers will not accepted). Selected Dutch research groups will be expected to nominate one lead PI to manage the award on behalf of the successful Dutch applicants.
The deadline submission of a joint network proposal is February 5, 2019.
