Neuro(bio)logy, radiology and pharmacology - KNAW Van Leersum Fund 2015 (€ 9,700)

The Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW) invites applications for its Van Leersum Fund. Closing date for submitting applications is May 1, 2015. The Van Leersum Fund supports neuro(bio)logical, radiological and pharmaceutical research by awarding a series of research grants. Eligible applicants are PhD students or researchers who obtained their PhD no more than four years previously. Master students may not apply. The annual maximum budget is € 28,000. Grants are up to € 9,700.

Researchers at a Dutch institute can apply for a grant to cover a research project abroad or a working visit to a foreign institution. The research project or working visit abroad must be for a minimum of one and a maximum of four consecutive months.

The Academy Van Leersum Grant is named after P. van Leersum, who was a corresponding member of the Academy. His estate and that of Mrs I.G. Harbers-Kramer make up the Van Leersum Fund, which was established in 1922 and is part of the Academy Medical Sciences Fund.
