NWO Added Value through Humanities open for applications

NWO invites applications for the call Added Value through Humanities (Alfa Meerwaarde). Deadline for submissions is June 18, 2015. Added Value through Humanities provides grants for experienced researchers in the field of humanities wishing to start a collaboration with public and/or private partners or to strengthen an already existing collaboration. The total budget available is € 200,000. Project funding is always at least € 18,000.

Added Value through Humanities is intended to support public-private partnerships in the field of humanities research. The grant not only helps researchers in setting up public-private collaborations; it is also meant to encourage public and private partners to collaborate with knowledge institutions. Funding can be obtained for setting up a new collaboration or strengthening/consolidating an already existing partnership. 

The project proposal concerns the humanities domain (Area studies, Archaeology, Computers and humanities, Philosophy, Gender studies, History, Art and architecture, Music, theatre, performing arts and media, Religious studies and theology, Language and literature, Linguistics, History of science. Funding can be requested for projects with a duration between 6 and 12 months and a project should start no later than February 1, 2016.
