Foreign conferences - Van Walree Fund 2014 (€ 700)

The Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW) invites applications for the Van Walree Fund. As of 2014 the closing dates for grant applications to attend conferences will be changed to 1 February, 1 June and 1 October.

The Van Walree Fund promotes medical research. It does this by funding medical students who wish to attend foreign conferences. Medical students enrolled at one of the Dutch medical faculties may apply. The maximum grant per conference is € 700. Every year an amount of € 37,000 is available for this purpose.

The Van Walree Fund was established in 1987 with capital from the estate of Ms E.M. Van Walree.
