Fourth ORA Call to be launched October 6

The fourth call of the Open Research Area in Europe (ORA) will be published October 6, 2014. The deadline of the call will be January 15, 2015. After last year’s ORA Plus, in which the National Science Foundation (NSF) of the USA participated, ORA will return to a European set up for this call. The total budget available for the call is € 4.5 million.

There are four countries participating in the fourth ORA call, namely France (ANR), Germany (DFG), The Netherlands (NWO) and United Kingdom (ESRC). Proposals will be accepted for research projects in any area of the social sciences involving researchers from any combination of two or more of the participating countries (excluding bilateral applications from French-German teams).

ANR will be the lead agency for the fourth ORA call. Deadline of submission of the third call was February 15, 2013.
