Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings 2015

The Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW) invites nominations for the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings. In 2015 there will be an interdisciplinary meeting with Nobel Laureates from the fields of physics, physiology or medicine and chemistry. Nominations must be submitted no later than 3 October 2014. The Academy funds the participation fee of the six day meeting of the candidates.

Each year the Lindau Foundation organises a six day meeting between thirty Nobel laureates and five hundred top young researchers from more than fifty countries. The Academy selects the Dutch top researchers. The meetings are dedicated alternately to chemistry, physics, and medicine/physiology. Every five years, the meeting is interdisciplinary in nature. Meetings in the economic sciences have taken place every five years since 2004. The Council for the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings began organising this event in 1951. The KNAW has participated since 2008.
