Down syndrome - Fondation Jérôme Lejeune grants 2014 (€ 40,000)

The Fondation Jérôme Lejeune invites applications for its research grants. Closing date for submitting proposals is August 19, 2014. Grants are up to € 20,000 for one year or € 40,000 for two years. The main target of the Fondation Jerome Lejeune is research into genetic diseases with intellectual disability.

Interested teams and researchers may submit fundamental or clinical research projects (neurosciences, behaviour, genetics, molecular biology, therapeutics, adult or cord blood stem cells, etc.), aimed at leading to the discovery of treatments improving abilities of patients suffering from genetic diseases with mental deficiency, especially the trisomy 21 (Down syndrome). The Fondation also considers support for congresses or courses organization.
