Call ERA-net ICT and Robotics for Sustainable Agriculture open for proposals

The ERA-net ICT and Robotics for Sustainable Agriculture (ICT-Agri) organises a European joint call for research proposals on farm management systems for precision farming. Deadline for submitting proposals is April 21, 2017. NWO participates for the Netherlands with a budget of € 500,000. Funding for a single Dutch partner is up to € 250,000 for personnel, material and networking costs. The maximum duration of a project is three years.

The call ICT-AGRI Call 2017 - Farm Management Systems for Precision Farming is organised as part of the ERA-net ICT-AGRI under FP7 and aimed at developing ICT applications for precision farming and transparent and efficient food production chains. The topics of the call are:

  • ?Agricultural research on use of sensor data for decision support;
  • Development of applications for Precision Farming;
  • Cases of integration of third-party applications with Farm Management Systems.

Dutch participation should be in line with the knowledge and innovation agendas of the economic priority areas Agri&Food.
