Rett Syndrome - Mentored Training Fellowship Program ($ 100,000)

The International Rett Syndrome Foundation (IRSF) invites applications for its Mentored Training Fellowship Program. Deadline for submissions is July 1, 2013. These two-year fellowships in Basic Research and Clinical Research are designed to assist post-doctoral research scientists and clinical scientists establish careers in fields relevant to Rett syndrome research. The maximum funding level  is $ 100,000 over two years.

The IRSF grant awards are meant to provide seed money for research that encompasses innovative therapeutic approaches and cutting-edge diagnostic techniques that will lead to follow-on funding. The core mission of the IRSF is to fund research for treatments and a cure for Rett syndrome while enhancing the overall quality of life for those living with Rett syndrome by providing information, programs, and services.
