Postcode Lottery Green Challenge 2017 open

The tenth edition of the Postcode Lottery Green Challenge is open for submission. Until June 1st you can send in your business plan that will help combat climate change. The competition calls on creative, innovative thinkers from around the world to submit business plans for sustainable products and services. Entries should directly reduce CO2 emissions, score highly on design, user-friendliness and quality, and ready to be in the market in two years.

The Challenge is open to any individual from the age of 18 years and to companies, businesses, institutions and all other organisations. The winner will receive € 500,000 to help bring his or her plan to market. An additional € 200,000 will go to one runner-up.  

The jury will publish a longlist of 25 startups in July. In August, it will be announced which five candidates will be competing on finals day. At the finals in Amsterdam on 14 September, the five finalists will pitch their business plans to the international jury, the audience and the press. The jury will then select the winner, who will receive € 500,000. After the competition, all five finalists will be offered an intensive 10-day accelerator programme to optimise their business chances.
