Eight projects awarded in NWO Sustainable Logistics

The division of Social Sciences (MaGW) of NWO has funded eight projects in the research programme Sustainable Logistics (Duurzame Logistiek). The objective of the programme is to develop, share and apply new knowledge that is necessary for the vitality of the Dutch logistics sector in the medium to long term. NWO received 13 full proposals for the call. The deadline for the submission was April 1, 2014. The budget was € 5 million.

Professors or university lecturers submitted applications on behalf of the whole consortium. A consortium consists of academic researchers from different chairs and non-academic partners such as businesses, governments, civil society organisations and public research institutes (e.g. TNO). Proposals could be submitted in the research areas ICT systems, Physical Infrastructure and Orgware for the Logistics Sector. Click here for more information about the awarded projects.
