18 talented researchers awarded with Rubicon grant

NWO has awarded eighteen talented researchers with a Rubicon grant. The aim of the Rubicon programme is to encourage talented researchers at Dutch universities and research institutes run by KNAW and NWO to dedicate themselves to a career in postdoctoral research. Rubicon offers researchers who have completed their doctorates in the past year the chance to gain experience at a top research institution outside the Netherlands (maximum of two years).

Ten researchers will leave for the United States, five for Germany, and two for the United Kingdom and one for Sweden. NWO received 120 applications altogether for Rubicon. Fourteen will leave for 24 months, two for 18 months and two for 12 months .
