Call H2020 Excellent Science - Future and Emerging Technologies

The European Commission has launched a Future and Emerging Technologies (FET) call under the main pillar Excellent Science (ES) of the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation - Horizon 2020. Deadline for applications of the call FET-Open - Novel ideas for radically new technologies - Coordination and Support Actions 2015, is September 29, 2015. The call with identifier H2020-FETOPEN-2015-CSA has a budget of € 3,000,000.

The call is a sub call of H2020-FETOPEN-2014-2015. The submission session is now available for the topics FET Exchange Coordination and Support Activities 2015 and FET Take-Up Coordination and Support Activities 2015.

The specific challenge is to make Europe the best place in the world for collaborative research on future and emerging technologies that will renew the basis for future European competitiveness and growth, and that will make a difference for society in the decades to come.

The mission of FET is to turn Europe's excellent science base into a competitive advantage by uncovering radically new technological possibilities. FET actions are expected to initiate radically new lines of technology through unexplored collaborations between advanced multidisciplinary science and cutting-edge engineering. It will help Europe grasp leadership early on in those promising future technology areas able to renew the basis for future European competitiveness and growth, and that can make a difference for society in the decades to come.
